Shipping and Delivery

-Shipping & Handling fees.

We are charging a flat rate of €5.00 for delivering your order up to 30 kg, within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We are not currently delivering to any other part of the EU or UK.

We can offer this flat rate because we are paying part of the shipping cost in order to maintain low prices for our customers.

For orders of €50 or more, the delivery will be for FREE (excluding DOG FOOD, CAT FOOD and items marked as Heavy, see below).

In case your order exceeds the maximum allowed weight or size, we will send you an email stating the new shipping cost. Some items will be heavier or larger than the allowance. Those will be marked as “heavy” and/or “large” in their description.

Heavy Items include XL dog kennels, aquariums, dog runs as well as other items marked heavy.

In the case of items marked heavy, you will be notified after you placed the order of the extra shipping charge if any.

NOTE: For Large or Heavy Items such as Cages and Aquariums you can opt to pick up these from our shop in Kinsealy rather than paying for delivery costs. After making an order, send an email to kinsealypetstore@gmail.com and we will deduct the delivery costs from your invoice.

 

-Refund and Return Policy.

1. Should any product purchased from us be found to be faulty, damaged in transit or differing substantially from the description given on our website then we will be pleased to arrange to either refund or replace the product at the discretion of the customer.

2. Customers are entitled to a cooling off period of 7 days after purchasing any products from us (this begins on the day you receive your product(s)). Within this time, you can cancel your order without giving any reason and without incurring any charges or penalties. The only charges that you will have to pay is the shipping fee for returning the products back to us (we do not pay this, see below). By ordering from our website or calling in your order, you agree that you will return the merchandise within 14 days of the shipping date.

3. Returns are not allowed after 14 days. 

4. If there is damage to the item/s upon return, you will be charged for the cost of new parts to replace the worn or damaged parts (unless you have previously informed us that the item was damaged in transit or faulty). 

5. All manuals must be returned with the item and all items must have the protective covering, including display protectors. You must return the item unused and in the original box with the original packaging. 

6. You are responsible for shipping costs back to Kinsealy Pet Store. 

7. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

8. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be issued by us before your package is returned or we will deny shipment and the equipment will be returned to you.

9. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of goods returned subject to the above conditions.

10. In the case of sizing errors attributable to the customer you will have to pay the return cost and a further carriage charge for replacing the product.

11. In cases where the customer is either unable or unwilling to arrange return carriage after mistakenly purchasing a product, Kinsealy Pet Store reserves the right to charge an uplift fee to cover the cost of employing a courier company to collect the item from the customer. 

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

 

-Delivery Schedule.

We will normally dispatch your order to you in 1-4 business days when items are in stock. However, we cannot control the courier companies so please allow extra time for their job (worst case scenario estimated at 7 days). 

As our orders go out by courier, it is essential that you give us an address that someone is at home so that the parcel can be signed for. An attempt will be made twice to deliver the parcel and if you are not there, a calling card will be left. If you do not sign for the parcel after the second attempted delivery, the parcel will be returned to us. If this happens, we will charge you a re-send delivery fee to send the parcel out again and the parcel will not be sent until this fee is paid. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure someone is there to receive the parcel. Re-send delivery fees are as follows:

Dublin city & County: €8.61

ROI & NI: €10.33

These may appear to be more expensive than initial delivery charges, but that is because we subsidise part of the initial delivery costs.

We cannot take responsibility for any of the postal service problems; our postal receipt is proof of delivery.

If you require faster delivery please contact the shop by phone or e-mail, we will endeavour to meet your needs. This may incur a further delivery charge or courier charge & must be pre-paid.

 

-Back Orders. 

If your item is not in stock, we will automatically back order it for you. If we know it will be a long time then we will e-mail you. You always have the option to cancel if you prefer not to wait.
